Emerging threats of interest include Behind Armor Blunt Trauma (BABT), Behind Helmet Blunt Trauma (BHBT), and Whole Body Blast Injury—especially those resulting from high-velocity munitions, loitering munitions, and blast-overpressure events expected in multi-domain operations against near-peer adversaries.

2) C-UAS Field Service Representative (FSR) Support

NAWCAD intends to negotiate a sole-source, cost-reimbursement contract with Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC) to support systems delivered under NATO and Building Partner Capacity (BPC) case KA-P-LDE.
SNC is the current manufacturer and system integrator for the C-UAS system that is integrated into the L3Harris VAMPIRE platform, making it the only known source with the necessary technical data, tooling, and skilled personnel.
Tasking includes CONUS and OCONUS deployment of engineers, maintenance technicians, and reach-back support for fielded systems in Eastern Europe.
