TRL 6+ man-portable / manpackable counter-UAS systems for dismounted SOF teams — detect, track, classify, and neutralize swarms of up to 10 Group 1–2 autonomous drones in denied, wooded terrain from static positions under day/night conditions.
USSOCOM wants a singular system or fully configured system-of-systems that provides both detection and neutralization. Solutions without both will not be considered.

What’s Being Sought
Open, modular control / integration capability that lets heterogeneous, multi-vendor unmanned ground, air, surface, and subsurface systems operate as one controllable combat team — not a proprietary autonomy stack, control station, or standalone platform.
Six interlocking workstreams:
Open architecture / MOSA: Vendor-independent, severable architectures allowing platforms, software, or components to be replaced without re-engineering the full team.
Common control / data standards: Cross-vendor command, status, sensor-data exchange, and shared operational picture using standards such as JAUS, DDS, TAK, and STANAG-aligned protocols — including EW-contested / GPS-denied operations.
Platform onboarding: Tooling, SDKs, capability abstraction, service discovery, interface translation, validation, and secure access mechanisms that make third-party integration repeatable rather than bespoke.

Primary software developer for a Government-owned, open-architecture autonomy framework enabling collaborative, autonomous capabilities across a variety of crewed / uncrewed systems.
Baseline evolves multi-agent swarming architectures previously developed under AFRL initiatives; scope covers continuous development, applied research, testing, integration, and maturation under the DoDI 5000.87 Software Acquisition Pathway.

Pilot projects to design advanced microelectronics using a “chiplet” approach — instead of relying on one large custom chip, divide functions among smaller chiplets integrated in a multi-chip package, mixing Intel 18A silicon where maximum performance is mission-critical with mature, trusted, non-SOTA or COTS silicon for standard functions.
Goal: cut engineering costs, reduce obsolescence, and reuse the same building blocks across missions (RF/electronic warfare, munitions, security, autonomy).
